Chapter 2 of our story "King of the Boys" takes us back to my earliest memories of Dodger Stadium and Huckleberry Hound. More importantly, I remember my Mexican and Native American Grandpa who was a rough and tumble Cowboy, who often worked as a bartender in Reno, Nevada.... Back in my childhood and even now, he represents my only deep connection to my past. I wanted to be just like him....

That was simply awesome. A nice mix of elements - story, delivery (including mower pushing movement), and the ambient setting with the neighbor.
The story was great, obviously really heartfelt and something we can all sort of relate to in a way since death is inevitable. I want to feel sad for you, that you don't have your grandfather with you anymore, but moreover I feel happy for you that you could share a wonderful relationship with him which you will always have. Of course I still have that sadness because as much as I have lived my life to it's fullest I still miss my grandmother and despise the cruel joke that life plays on us by forcing death upon us.
Anyway...Thanks for sharing.
