Bonus Track: "Haunted Corner"
A whimsical remembrance of Halloweens past.... But mostly I talk about our earnest attempt at an "Organic Spooky House" inspired by the late great Hallowed Haunting Grounds.

Really nice episode, I could really picture your setup. We have similar houses that we visit in our neighborhood. One is over the top with lights and pretty much every cheesy Halloween inflatable and decorations. The lady invites all the guests inside to view the inside of the house as well which is full of noisy, moving decapitated people, skeletons, caskets, eyeball pizzas, etc. Not really scary but way over the top.
And the other house is the really cool one with music, fog, ghosts flying around on ropes, and several scary looking people working the crowd out front. They are scary not just because of their costumes but because they never speak. We brought our 3-year-old, and she was too scared to go up to the person with the candy. They saw that and got down to her level motioning her to come in. We walked her slowly towards them, but she wouldn't take the candy out of the cauldron. Finally the person put the cauldron down in front of her and she still wouldn't take any. We finally took some for her, thanked them and told them what a great job they did decorating. Afterwards she said "That wasn't scary." Out front another person was trying to scare some teenagers and they were getting really spooked when they didn't talk. One girl said "I don't like you!" and threw a piece of candy at them. Obviously, not too nice, but she was definitely spooked. Glad to see that you were the cool house in the neighborhood.0
