Last Show of Season Three: "Verge of LA"

Mac's Camera Stance
The final show of "Season Three" rambles towards a combative future, as I finally take off the gloves about my new publishing venture Verge of LA. Inspired in large part by my recent two hour interview with UFC/MMA Fighter and Photographer Mac Danzig...

You can check out clips of my interview with Mac on YouTube or my Blog... "Mac's Camera Stance" shot by Lance...

Proudly presented raw, unedited and in one take... "Thanks for the download"...

23:18 / 21.5 MB / Rated: R ("Mature words for mature minds")...

(Note: I know the LA Weekly comes out "weekly," not monthly. Doh!)

Thanks for another season, Lance. And no need to even mention the fact that you cover non-tech issues. We're here for the stories and such. Later!

I like this one a lot--kind of a like a deep look into the artistic mind--where do the ideas come from, what is on the back burner and how did it get there, what is up front and hot right now, etc. The fact that a guy inspires so much artistic activity--a guy into a sport that you would have been into had you known about it when you were younger--says a lot about the power of rewriting our own histories, about imagining our lives in other contexts, and of being grateful for what we have right now.

A lot of this appears to be continued refinement of an artistic vision that is still very much in process and I really like that--of course, I would also really like to see new King of the Boys chapters coming out.

The part where you are sitting on the couch with girlfriend trying to think of what famous person Mr. Danzig reminds you of, took me back to the Johnny Deep discussion a few weeks (months?) back. I liked that the answers were old school actors--another glance back at history.

A very good episode.

So is the first issue out yet? When/where can I get it?
